I can get used to this way of life!

It has been a very busy few days! So busy that updating this, has been tough. Lets start with day 2: Seattle.

The excitement began when every one woke up at like 5am because of the time change that we were not used to yet.

We began at the aquarium across the street. When we entered there was this huge aquarium that had a variety of fish in it. We just missed the scuba diver that went in and fed the fish and did cool tricks in front of everybody. The next room was very cool, you could touch sea urchins and star fish. We walked through some dark halls that had little tanks with a variety of different kind of fish. I got really sidetracted and lost my family when I was taking pictures of the clown fish that looked identical to Nemo. We went down into the underwater dome, that was actually in the ocean. We saw salmon sharks, and lots of other fish. Then, we saw Puffin Birds that were so cute. Outside there was seals, he layed on the plank and posed so I can take a picture. The otters put on quite the show, they were cute coming out of their little holes, jumping in the river and chasing eachother.

For lunch we went to a true fishermans meal. It was called the crab pot. Hense the name, you ordered seafood by the pot. Once you have ordered, they give you bibs, a cutting board, a small fork and a hammer. Those are your only eating utensils. Once the food comes, it is literally dumped on your table. Now its time to dig in and choose what you would like to eat. I was stuffed and tried like 4 different kinds of crab, oysters and clams.

We walked up a giant hill and headed up to the Gum Wall. It is amazing how much gum is on that wall. As you walked in, there was art on the wall. The Pike Place Market began here. The famous guy that throw the fish back and forth was front and center of the market. At the time I wasn't to sure if throwing the fish back and forth or the fact that there was birds in the market amazed me more. We headed up this giant hill to the Irish Kells Pub for drinks. Afterwardss, we walked the rest of the market: Beechers Cheese, the Crumpet shop, the Wine shop etc.

We walked to the pier, and got on the ferry to go to Bermington, just for the ride. It was very pretty leaving the doc, you could see the Space Needle and many other landmarks. I was amazed on the amount of the little islands with houses on them the whole way there.

Our day was coming to an end. We went back to my aunts and had pizza. A very busy day, but yet a very fun day was tiring and we were all ready to go to bed.

Planes,Trams, and speeding tickets

It was a tough time sleeping last night because we were all really excited. However the alarm that went off at 4:30am was a little rough. I was awake and ready to go 25 mins before we had to leave. When our ride got to our house we loaded up the truck and were on our way. Everything was smooth riding until we got to the border. A very long line up was in store for us. We managed to get to the airport in record timing. It was extremely easier than we thought it was going to be.... Checked bags, went through security, grabbed a croissant, Took the very long walk to gate A6. When the gates opened, we boarded the plane, and got situated. The plane started moving and we began to get Excited. I was afraid of taking of but it wasnt that bad. It was cloudy and foggy most of the ride. When we reached the Dakotas it was clear and we seen flat land and water. We hit turbulences when hit the mountains but it was clear so it was really pretty.

Mountains

We landed, have to say it was a really good landing. To find our baggage claim, we had to go downstairs, ride a tram, walk, take the escalator and then walk again to the actual carousel. Then we were off to Red Robin, for lunch.

I had a milkshake and a chicken ceasar wrap, , it was really good. We took a ride to Woodinville, for a short tour of all the wineries that there is. There is some really neat trails to walk on too. We went to Bothell swell and as wears king up the hill Jackie gets a speeding ticket. We ended up at the Ale House, had some chips and pop and of course social time.

Once the contractor left my aunts, We went to her house. We watched a boring movie my dad picked: Bonnie and Clyde. Scotts parents came over for a little bit, then we had chiili for dinner. Itt was a very tiring day, but exciting at the same time. Today we are going to the aquarium and to do some more site seeing.

Ready to go.....

Bags are packed, and at the front door with bright green ribbon on the handle to see them coming when we land.

It's going to be a very long night, waiting to get up and go to the airport. I have to get up at about 4:30. Lets say sleep on the plane?

On the plane, I have no idea what to do. I bought a wordsearch and Sudoku book, however I think i'm going to be to excited to focus on anything. Maybe counting clouds that we go by will be a better solution.

Keep tuned for more posts but this time in Seattle Washington :)
